On diaspora.immo, the same user account can search, save favorites, and publish. There is no separate “buyer account” versus “seller account”. When someone publishes, however, they present as a private individual or as a professional.
What “private” means
- Often an owner selling or renting their own property.
- More direct contact, sometimes less formal process.
- You still need to verify identity and documents.
What “professional” means
- An agency, developer, or dealer publishing on behalf of a business.
- Display name / trade name often more visible.
- Always ask for the mandate or link to the owner when relevant.
In both cases, read the listing with a method: guide to reading a listing .
And keep the same standards on paperwork: documents to request .
